Series
Regelbau is a photo series about the German standardized bunker constructions dated from World War II.
In less than four years (from 1940 to 1944) thousands of concrete structures have been planned and erected at the Atlantic coastline reaching from Norway down to the south of France by German military forces and thousands of PoWs who were forced to work on this huge military project. Nowadays the ruins of these buildings can be seen as particular historical objects as well as eternal memorials for the insanity of war.
